Sana’a Government Spokesperson: We Strongly Reject US, Israeli, and British Hostile Actions
The Sanaa government has firmly rejected the hostile moves of the Unied States, Israel, and Britain.
“We proudly and steadfastly stand behind the words of the Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirming the unwavering position of the Yemeni people in facing the nation’s enemies,” Sana’a government spokesperson and Minister of Information, Hashim Sharaf al-Din, said on Thursday.
He pointed out that every Yemeni is ready to confront these movements with full strength and resolve, considering the defense of the homeland a sacred duty and a responsibility that must be shouldered by all.
He added, “Defending our homeland is a sacred duty, our belief in our cause is steadfast, and our struggle in the path of Allah continues.”
The government spokesperson warned of the consequences of any escalation by the aggressors, stating that it would be met with a strong and decisive response, emphasizing that Yemen’s future and national security are red lines that cannot be crossed.
“We will not hesitate to take all necessary measures to protect our country’s sovereignty and defend the interests of our people,” he said. “Our enemies have learned—over the past ten years—that our people are proud and resilient, unbowed by any external threats or pressures and stronger and more steadfast than ever before.”
Sharaf al-Din reaffirmed the continued commitment to raising the banner of struggle in the path of Allah, with pride, honor, and strength, until the aggression against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples ceases.
In a televised speech on Thursday on recent developments in Yemen and the region, the Leader of the Revoluion Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi stated that Yemen constantly monitors US activities against the country and the nation, and Yemenis remain prepared for any level of escalation that the US, Israel, or Britain may choose to pursue.
The US and UK have been staging attacks against Yemen as a means of trying to stop Yemeni operations against Israel.
Yemeni forces have been carrying out numerous strikes against the occupied Palestinian territories since October 7 last year, when the Israeli regime began the war on Gaza, killing more than 43,000 Palestinians to date.
The forces have also been targeting Israeli ships and vessels heading towards or away from the ports of the occupied territories as a means of trying to force the regime into stopping the war and a siege that it has been simultaneously imposing on Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces say they won’t stop the attacks until Israel stops its ground and aerial offensives.
