Health Minister meets Director of Italian Intersos

Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Ali Shaiban met on Monday with Director-General of the Italian Intersos Organization Constantinos Moschohoritis who is currently visiting Yemen.

In the meeting, Shaiban and Moschohoritis focused on the projects implemented by the organization in the health sector.

During the meeting, Minister Shaiban emphasized the importance of coordinating with the Ministry of Health and Environment to plan humanitarian projects that align with the ministry’s needs and the priorities of the Government of Change and Construction.

He expressed appreciation for the support provided by the organization to the health sector.

He also expressed hope for increased funding, especially in light of the ongoing American, British, and Zionist aggression against the country, the latest incident being the targeting of civilian facilities in Hodeida province on Sunday.

He stressed the ministry’s readiness to provide all necessary facilities to the organization, enabling it to fulfill its humanitarian role.

For his part, the Director-General of the Italian Intersos Organization acknowledged the support provided by the Ministry of Health and Environment, which has enabled the continuation of its activities and projects.
