Sana’a condemns Israel for killing ambulance director in Gaza
Sana’a Ministry of Public Health and Population on Tuesday strongly condemned the Zionist occupation for assassinating director of ambulance and emergency services in Gaza, Hani Al-Jaafrawi.
In a statement , the Ministry dubbed this assassination as a new crime that comes in the context of the deliberate and systematic targeting of the health system and the killing of medical competencies and everyone who contributes to saving the lives of the people of Gaza.
The statement held the American administration and the international community directly responsible for the occupation’s continued targeting of health workers and the bombing of hospitals and medical clinics.
It noted the legendary role of medical and health personnel who work in very difficult conditions and are constantly exposed to systematic Zionist targeting.
The Ministry of Health affirmed that the crime of assassinating Al-Jaafrawi and the continued destruction of the health system requires the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities to stop these systematic crimes that represent a serious violation of all international laws and norms, and to continue working to protect medical teams and health facilities, and to present the occupation leaders and their supporters as war criminals in international courts.
