FM meets head of UN Mission to Support Hodeida Agreement (UNMHA)
The Caretaker Foreign Minister, Engineer Hisham Sharaf, met today ,Tuesday, the Head of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeida Agreement (UNMHA) and the Head of the Redeployment Coordination Committee in Hodeida, Major General Michael Perry.
In the meeting, Minister Sharaf praised the efforts of the head and members of the Hodeida Agreement support team during the last period, stressing Sana’a’s keenness on the security and stability of the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab , Arabian Sea regions and ensuring the safety of international navigation.
He pointed out that the Yemeni armed forces are firm in their humanitarian and moral stance in preventing the passage of any ship related to the Zionist entity, until the aggression is stopped , humanitarian, food and fuel aid enters Gaza Strip without any obstacles.
He stressed the government’s keenness to provide facilities and support to the redeployment team , mission in Hodeida , to continue coordination and consultation, which would make their missions a success.
For his part, the head of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeida Agreement confirmed that the Redeployment Coordination Committee will continue to work as required, expressing his hope that the desired goals will be achieved from the presence of the United Nations Redeployment Coordination Mission in Hodeida.
