Tehran strongly condemns US-British military attacks on Yemen
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the military attacks launched by America and Britain on several Yemeni cities, on Friday.
Tasnim International News Agency reported that ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani strongly condemned the military attacks launched by America and Britain at dawn today on several Yemeni cities, and considered them a reckless act and a clear violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a violation of international laws and regulations.
“These military attacks come in line with the continued full support of America and Britain throughout the past 100 days for the war crimes committed by the Zionist enemy entity against the Palestinian people and the oppressed and completely besieged citizens in Gaza,” Kanaani said.
Kanaani stressed that these reckless attacks will only fuel the lack of security and stability in the region, “While the Zionist enemy entity continues its attacks and war crimes in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in Palestine, America is trying to divert the attention of the people of the world from the crimes of this false, criminal and aggressor entity by expanding their umbrella of support for the Zionist entity to mislead against the Palestinian people,” he added.
Kanaani expressed his concern about the consequences of repeating such reckless attacks on regional and international peace and security, calling on the international community to prevent the spread of war, instability and insecurity in the region with responsible reactions and procedures.
