FM meets with WHO resident representative

Minister of Foreign Affairs Hisham Sharaf on Tuesday met with new World Health Organization Resident Representative in Sana’a Arturo Pesigan

In the meeting, Sharaf appreciated the role of the WHOO in Yemen, stressing that it enjoys the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and all relevant official institutions, as a commitment to facilitate the work of United Nations organizations, agencies and programs to play their role in alleviating the repercussions of the humanitarian disaster created by the aggression coalition.

For his part, Pesigan pointed out the importance of humanitarian work and confronting the humanitarian disaster in Yemen.
