Council Secretary General meets new representative of Danish Council in Yemen
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, met today with the new representative of the Danish Council (DRS) in Yemen, Anwar Ali.
The meeting, in the presence of the Head of the International Cooperation Department, Faisal Modhesh, touched on aspects of cooperation and coordination between the Supreme Council and the Danish Council, and joint working mechanisms that ensure continuity of work and achieve the desired results to alleviate the worst humanitarian suffering in the world that the Yemeni people are experiencing as a result of the aggression and siege.
He stressed the need to adhere to the controls of humanitarian work and respect national laws, which would facilitate work and move towards achieving humanitarian goals.
The Secretary-General of the Council pointed out the necessity of full coordination with the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, which is considered the only window through which organizations can deal.
