Saudi Arabia: Crimes Against Humanity Committed by Friend of France

The French website “Contre Attaque” said that Saudi regimes’ crimes do not arouse the anger of the West, in a report titled “Saudi Arabia: Crimes Against Humanity Committed by a Friend of France.”

The site stated that the “Human Rights Watch” organization documented its investigation of horrific, racist mass crimes committed by Saudi military personnel against civilians, and the number of victims is expected to reach hundreds between March 2022 and June 2023.

It noted that the investigation is based on the accounts of Ethiopian survivors who tried to enter Saudi Arabia through Yemen, satellite images, videos and photos posted on social networks, in addition to other sources.

According to the investigation, the Saudi border guards asked the Ethiopians “which part of their bodies they would like to be shot at”, and the horror scenes are described as follows: “Women, men and children scattered in the mountainous areas, seriously injured” or dead. “I saw a man crying for help, he had lost his legs,” says one woman, but “we couldn’t help him because we were running for our lives.”

The site indicated that thousands of Ethiopians work in Saudi Arabia and travel along a route linking the Horn of Africa to the Gulf via Yemen, pointing out that Yemen itself has been in a state of war for more than eight years, and Saudi Arabia has regularly bombed it.

The French website asked, “Has the disclosure of such crimes against humanity sparked global outrage?” Or a strong condemnation of Saudi Arabia? It is “impossible” for this to happen. It added: “The investigation is still open, in partnership with the same rich Gulf countries, and there don’t seem to be any plans to impose sanctions.”

Over the next few days, the Human Rights Watch investigation will undoubtedly be forgotten, and will be swallowed up by an abundance of new information, and for good reason, Saudi Arabia is considered a “friendly” country to Macron, it emphasized.

The report noted that in July 2022, “the dictator of this oil monarchy was invited with great fanfare to the Elysee, and before that Macron himself traveled to Saudi Arabia, surrounded by the heads of the arms industry to pay him a courtesy visit.”

The report indicated that Saudi Arabia is also an advocate of war, explaining that in November 2021, the United Nations estimated the number of victims of the war in Yemen at about 377,000 over seven years.

It indicated that the weapons used by Saudi Arabia, especially the warplanes that bomb the population, come from France, stressing that this regime is also a strategic ally of the United States. “We don’t touch ‘friends’ who have blood on their hands”, it stated.

The site concluded, “Saudi Arabia is a very rich country, allied with the West, and now wants to ‘mislead’ world public opinion through sports and propaganda.”
