Human Rights Minister meets United Nations Population Fund representative

-The Minister of Human Rights, Ali Hussein Al-Dailami, met today in Sana’a the representative of the United Nations Population Fund, Inshirah Ahmed.

The meeting, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Ali Taiseer, the Director of the Women’s Department, Mona Al-Saqqaf, and the Training Coordinator of the Women’s Protection Cluster, Saif Naim, discussed aspects of cooperation between the Ministry and the Fund, especially in the field of women’s and children’s rights.

Minister Al-Dailami drew attention to the projects, activities and programs implemented by the Ministry during the last period in the field of women’s and children’s rights in order to achieve protection and justice for them.

For her part, the representative of the United Nations Population Fund, Inshirah Ahmed, affirmed the Fund’s readiness to cooperate with the Ministry and support its efforts to serve women and children.

She pointed out the importance of strengthening aspects of partnership and cooperation in the future between the Ministry and the Fund.
