US Provides Political Cover for US-Saudi Crimes in Southern-Occupied Yemen

The Minister of Human Rights, Ali Al-Dailami, condemned the crimes of torture a citizen to death by US-Saudi mercenaries in Abyan.

In an interview with Almasirah, Tuesday, Minister Al-Dailami explained that this is not the first crime that was committed by the UAE-backed transitional mercenaries as earlier a family from Dhamar that was working in Aden, were kidnapped and tortured until the death of one of its members.

He pointed out that the UAE plays a dangerous role in the south, and there is complete complicity between the occupying countries and the US, which provides political cover for the crimes of the aggression coalition there.

Minister Al-Dailami said, “We asked the Attorney General to file lawsuits regarding crimes that occur in the occupied territories and to take serious measures regarding international mechanisms to hold the perpetrators of these crimes accountable.”

The Minister of Human Rights pointed out that the international organizations are caring about marginal issues while ignoring the crimes of torture and killing committed by the US-Saudi aggression and mercenaries.

Aden and southern governorates are witnessing security chaos, and almost daily crimes, under the control of the forces of US-Saudi aggression and Saudi-Emirati occupation. In addition to kidnapping, bombings and clashes between militants fighting for influence, people in southern Yemen witness an increase in the number of assassinations involving military personnel, security leaders, religious and social figures.
