Eight citizens killed by Brotherhood’s militia fire in Marib
At least eight people were killed and others were injured in a barbaric attack by the Brotherhood militia on the areas of Al Fujeeh in Wadi Ubaidah in Marib province.
A local official told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the Muslim Brotherhood militia attacked gatherings of the Al-Fajeh tribe in the Mafraq Hareeb area of Al-Wadi district, against the backdrop of their refusal to create checkpoints inside their areas, using heavy weapons and armored vehicles, which led to killing eight members of the Ubaidah tribes, including Sheikh Mubarak. Talib bin Aqar, 80 years old.
He stated that violent clashes broke out over the incident, and continued from midnight on Friday until this morning, while the situation is still tense.
The official denounced the crime of attacking the Ubaidah tribes, and the victims and property losses they left behind, pointing out that this crime is added to the series of crimes and attacks of this militia on the people of Marib in an attempt to impose a new reality and subject the free tribes to their hegemony.
