Elderly man & child were injured in Hodeida & Al-Bayda by explosion
An elderly person and a child were injured by two explosive devices left over from the aggression in Al-Bayda and Al-Hodeida province.
The Executive Center for Mine Action confirmed in a statement – received today by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) – that an elderly man (70 years) in Al-Zaher district in Al-Bayda, and a 14-year-old child in Al-Durayhimi district in Al-Hodeida were injured by two objects left behind by the aggression.
The statement indicated that the unexploded of the aggression remnants still pose an imminent threat to the lives of Yemeni citizens in the countryside and villages. As a result of the widespread pollution left by the aggression over eight years.
