Death toll in Sudan rises to 256 as clashes continue
Death toll from the outbreak of clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) since last Saturday has risen to 256 dead and 1,454 injured, Sudan’s Doctors Syndicate announced on Saturday.
Sudan’s Doctors Syndicate said in a statement that “clashes are still ongoing between the Rapid Support Forces and the armed forces for the seventh consecutive day, which resulted in more casualties who are being counted until the moment of issuing the report in the capital and the regions.”
It pointed out that there are many injuries and deaths “not included in this count, specifically in the city of El-Obeid, as it was unable to reach hospitals due to the difficulty of movement and the security situation in the country.”
