Omani delegation arrives at Sana’a Airport, accompanied by head of national delegation
The Omani delegation arrived on Saturday at Sana’a International Airport, accompanied by the head of the national negotiating delegation, Muhammad Abdul Salam, to discuss the latest developments in the ongoing negotiations in Muscat with the leadership in Sana’a.
The head of the national delegation affirmed that the demands of the Yemeni people are just and right, which is to stop the aggression, lift the blockade completely, and pay the salaries of all employees from oil and gas revenue entitlements.
He pointed out that his arrival with the brotherly Omani delegation to the capital, Sana’a, is a continuation of efforts within the framework of a continuous path to achieve a just peace.
He said, “We affirm our firm position adhering to our just cause, as emphasized by the Leader in more than one speech and position.”
He also stressed that “our just demands are the exit of foreign forces from Yemen, compensation and reconstruction.”
Abdel Salam expressed hope that these just demands, which are in their entirety humanitarian, will be fulfilled.
He said, “In this round, we will hold discussions with the leadership and adhere to these just demands,” stressing that we will work to “follow up the prisoners’ file so that it does not stand in the way of obstacles, as happened recently, and there are promises that the process will take place in this holy month.”
He added, “We do not care about the leaks, and what matters to us is what is achieved on the ground, and we leave things to conclusions.”
