Shura Council Presidency condemns Zionist violations in Palestine & Syria

The Presidency of the Shura Council strongly condemned the Zionist entity’s decision to close Gaza Strip and the West Bank, starting next Wednesday, to celebrate the Jewish Passover holiday.

Its announcement coincided with calls by Jewish temple organizations to bring animal offerings to the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Commission condemned the repeated hostile attacks carried out by the Zionist entity’s warplanes on Arab and Syrian territories, the latest of which was the bombing of a number of centers and points in the Syrian capital, Damascus, and its suburbs.

The commission indicated that those aggressive practices pursued by the usurper Zionist enemy are a natural result of the failure of the regimes normalized with the entity to the Palestinian cause and Arab issues, and the enemy government’s adoption of proactive measures to divert attention from the internal crises of the entity and the deep divisions that it is witnessing.

The commission called on the Association of Senates, Shura Councils, and similar councils in Africa and the Arab world, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and the United Nations to condemn these hostile acts and work to take firm positions to prevent the settlers of the enemy entity from desecrating the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and not to provoke the feelings of millions of Muslims in the world.

The meeting reviewed the draft plans submitted by the permanent committees and the priorities of their activities for the year 1445 AH, and the community activities of the council members during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The authority noted the importance of the committees absorbing in their plans all new and urgent developments on the local scene and developing appropriate perceptions that keep pace with the requirements and privacy of the current and upcoming stage in various issues.

The Commission approved the draft plans of the committees and referred them, after absorbing the observations thereon, to the main committee.
