More than one ton of expired dates seized in Hodeida
The teams of the industry and trade office in Hodeidah governorate seized more than a ton of adulterated and expired dates yesterday, during the market control and inspection campaign.
The director of control and inspection at the industrial bureau, Badr Malfi, explained that a quantity of dates that are not suitable for human use was seized and withdrawn from two wholesale shops in al-Minaa and al-Hook districts.
He stressed the continuation of the control campaign and inspection of shops, commercial centers, warehouses, and factories to ensure the supply situation and the extent of compliance with storage conditions, quality specifications and price list.
He also praised the support of the leadership of the local authority for the measures taken against the violating traders and the confiscation of counterfeit goods.
