Water & Environment Minister discussed with head of Intersos organization mission areas of cooperation

Water and Environment Minister, Eng. Abdulraqib Al-Sharmani, discussed with the head of the mission of the Intersos organization in Yemen, areas of cooperation and coordination between the ministry and the organization in water and environmental sanitation.

The meeting reviewed a report on the organization’s projects for the year 2022, the challenges and difficulties facing the implementation of its projects and activities in Yemen.

In the meeting, Al-Sharmani affirmed the ministry’s support for the organization’s efforts to implement projects funded by the organization, within the framework of the ministry’s plan, in a way that meets the citizens’ needs for basic services represented in water and sanitation.

He expressed the ministry’s readiness to facilitate the tasks and overcome the difficulties facing the work of the organization in carrying out its tasks and to play its role in providing water services to citizens.

Al-Sharmani expressed the aspiration of Water and Environment Ministry to expand the areas of cooperation with the organization by raising the level of partnership to achieve the desired goals and to serve the beneficiary communities by providing water and environmental sanitation projects.
