Mine Action Center: 64 women killed and injured by coalition’s remnants of cluster bombs and mines
The Executive Center for Mine Action confirmed the killed and injured 64 women as a result of US-Saudi aggression remnants during the year 2022.
In a statement on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the center said that the remnants of the US-Saudi aggression caused the killed of 10 women and injured of 54 others over the past year.
The statement indicated that women in Yemen are the most affected by the remnants of war, stressing the need to provide protection for women from these remnants and to cleanse contaminated areas.
The statement stated that the preliminary statistics recorded by the center for women victims since the beginning of the war on Yemen until the beginning of this March as a result of the remnants of US-Saudi aggression included 146 killed and 553 injured.
