4.7 magnitude earthquake hits Siberia
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Irkutsk region reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 occurred near the village of Alygdzher of Nizhneudinsky district.
“At 07:06 (2:06 Moscow time), a seismic event was recorded in the Nizhneudinsky district, 21 km from Alygdzher. The Ministry of Emergencies said 6.3 points at the epicenter.
The European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) noted that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km.
No loss of life or damage was reported. Infrastructure facilities are operating normally.
