Security forces seize two liquor factories in Sanaa
Police managed to seize two liquor factories in Amanat Al-Asimah, and arrested those accused of manufacturing liquor.
“The security forces were able to arrest a gang of five people, including two women, in possession of 636 bottles of locally made wine, 201 bottles of externally made wine, 14 plastic barrels of 200 liters, in addition to 6 drums of 100 liters and 6 bottles of 20 liters, all filled with homemade wine, and other laboratory tools,” Police said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the Police, among the seizures are 6, 744, 000 Yemeni riyals, 350 Saudi riyals, 200$, an automatic rifle, jewelry “gold” and four cars belonging to the gang were used in the distribution and promotion of alcohol.
The defendants were importing narcotics and manufacturing materials from the areas, which are under the control of the coalition’s mercenaries of aggression.
Police praised the role of the community police in the operation, as well as the role of citizens who supported the security personnel.
Police stressed that the security forces are fully prepared, highly vigilant and constantly moving to deter anyone who seeks to harm the security, stability, tranquility and dignity of this country.
