Magnitude 3.6 earthquake strikes Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan Center of Seismic Forecasting Monitoring (RCSFM) under the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that an earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale occurred in the Kashkadarya region on Tuesday.

According a statement issued by the center, the  earthquake occurred in the territory of Uzbekistan at 05:48 on Tuesday morning.

Reportedly, the epicenter was in the Dekhanabad district of the Kashkadarya region, 38.22 degrees north and 66.36 degrees east.

No casualties have been reported so far.
