Isreali occupation launches air strikes on Gaza
Israeli occupation warplanes at dawn on Monday launched a series of raids on Palestinian resistance sites in the Gaza Strip.
The aircraft attacked a site and a land in the Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, with about 10 missiles, causing large explosions and a fir in the area.
The Palestinian Information Center reported that the raid targeted two resistance observation points east of Khan Younis in the south and Beit Hanoun in the north of Gaza Strip,
No causalities have been reported as a result of the Israeli aggression.
The Israeli military spokesman claimed that his forces attacked an underground site for the production of raw materials for Hamas rockets, blaming the latter for firing rockets from Gaza.
On the other hand, Palestinian resistance immediately fired several rockets towards the settlements in Gaza envelope.
For his part, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem, said at dawn on Monday that the Israeli bombardment on the Gaza Strip, which coincided with the aggression on Nablus and Jerusalem, confirms “that we are facing aggression against all our Palestinian people.”
“The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, responded to the occupation raids and confused its army and settlers,” he stated in a press statement .
“The resistance will remain the shield and sword of our people, and this aggression will be broken by our people’s revolution, steadfastness and valiant resistance action,” he said.
