Parliament discusses blockade impacts, humanitarian situation
The Parliament, chaired by Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, reviewed on Wednesday the humanitarian situation in Yemen, and the implications of the repercussions of the aggression, blockade, and economic war waged by the Saudi-led coalition, which have doubled the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The Parliament called for activating periodic control on the prices of goods and services, as well as searching for effective solutions and remedies to many problems to lessen the burdens placed on Yemeni civilians.
In its session, the Parliament emphasized the significance of coordinating efforts and integrating performance in the construction battle to confront the aggression coalition’s economic war, which seeks to undermine Yemenis’ will and determination after eight years of steadfastness.
