5.8 magnitude earthquake hits Indonesia

An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale struck Indonesia on Thursday, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported.

The epicenter of the quake is located 10 kilometers from the city of Jayapura in Indonesia’s Papua province, and at a depth of 43 kilometers, according to the source.

No casualties or damage have been reported, and no tsunami warning was issued.
