Medvedev warns of imminent danger of breaking out World War III
The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, stated that the special military operation in Ukraine has become a forced and extreme measure in response to the aggression being prepared by the US and its satellites.
“The situation has brought the world on the edge of World War III,” he warned
“Our party [United Russia] must help the people of the world to understand that the special military operation has become a forced and extreme measure, a response to the aggression being prepared by the United States of America and its satellites. It is obvious that the world has come to the very edge of World War III because of the things that were happening,” Medvedev said during the meeting of the United Russia Supreme Council.
Medvedev added that multilateral diplomacy institutions, including the UN, are experiencing a serious crisis. They were established to resolve disputes and conflict situations, but have become a battlefield, he noted.
“Our adversaries seek to secure the most votes in support of absolutely anti-Russian initiatives. To that extent, they utilize economic pressure, blackmailing, political ransom – basically, an entire set of possible tools,” the party chairman said, adding that the goal of the Russian diplomacy is to obstruct “this shameless course of Western states.”
