Citizens tear up pictures of Aidarous Al-Zubaidi in Aden

The President of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), Aidarous Al-Zubaidi was severely insulted in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden.

Citizens tore pictures of al-Zubaidi in a number of Aden districts, in addition to toppling his status in the clock roundabout in the Crater area, hours after they were hung.

The STC militia carried out a security campaign to track down those behind the tearing up of al-Zubaidi’s pictures.

This comes in light of the widespread discontent of the people of Aden from the practices of the STC and its president, their tampering with public money and their imposition of royalties on merchants and citizens.
