Qahim opens exhibition of aggression’s & siege’s victims in Hodeida
Hodeida Governor , Muhammad Ayash Qahim, and with him the two deputy governors, Muhammad Hulaysi and Ali Qashr, opened today, Saturday, an exhibition of pictures and models of women and children victims of the aggression and siege in the province.
The exhibition, which is organized by the Women’s Development Department and the women’s sector in the Marine Sciences Research Authority, the Yemeni Women’s Union and the Environmental Protection Authority on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Fatima Al-Zahraa over a period of 3 days, contains 130 photos and 13 models of the victims of crimes and massacres committed by the aggression against women and children in the province and its directorates.
Qahim stressed the importance of highlighting the crimes of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression in conjunction with the revival of the activities of the International Muslim Women’s Day, and reminding the world that the Yemenis are still healing their wounds as a result of the most heinous war in history.
After that, Qahim, Hulaisi and Qishr were briefed on the exhibition of marketing the products of the beneficiaries of the economic empowerment program from the poor and affected women who were trained during the last period in the fields of incense, perfume and sewing, with funding from Zakat Authority office and the cooperation of the Social Affairs and Labor office in the province.
The governor and his entourage expressed pride in the role of women in facing the challenges of aggression and siege, pointing out that Yemeni women, along with men, since the beginning of the aggression, have worked miracles and contributed to supporting the fronts and facing difficulties to provide a living.
