14 soldiers killed in two Mali attacks
The Malian army said that at least 14 of its soldiers were killed and 11 others wounded in two terrorist attacks in the centre of the country.
Reuters quoted the army as saying in a statement on Wednesday that “the soldiers were killed after their vehicles hit by improvised explosive devices in two separate areas.”
The army said it had deployed reinforcements in response to the attacks and clashed with takfiris, resulting in 31 takfiri killings.
The incidents took place in two regions of central Mali, where terrorist groups affiliated with al-Qaeda and ISIS are attacking civilians, soldiers, UN peacekeepers and other international forces.
