“OCHA” Humanitarian Finance Fund interventions in Hodeida discussed
The Director of the Branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Hodeidah Province, Jaber Al-Razhi, discussed on Saturday with the Director of the Humanitarian Finance Fund “OCHA” in Yemen, Randa Margahani, the Fund’s interventions in the province and its future plan in the relief and humanitarian fields.
The meeting reviewed the activities and programmes of the Fund in the governorate and the requirements for addressing the repercussions of the humanitarian situation due to the country’s economic crisis, and the necessary needs to alleviate the suffering of citizens and displaced persons as a result of aggression and blockade.
Al-Razehi valued OCHA’s efforts in implementing about 40% of the first quarter plan of relief and humanitarian interventions in the governorate, stressing the importance of expanding his activities and interventions to meet the emergency needs of displaced persons and those affected by the aggression.
In turn, Margahani appreciated the role of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs in overcoming the implementation of humanitarian interventions and projects, It is noteworthy that it will strengthen coordination to finance projects over the coming period with a more effective impact on the humanitarian side.
