Man killed in aggression mine blast in Hodeida
A man was killed on Tuesday by a mine explosion left over by the forces of the aggression coalition in al-Tuhaita district of Hodeida province.
The Yemen Executive Mine Action Centre (YEMAC) stated in a statement since the beginning of the new year, 2 deaths and 3 injuries, including children, were recorded in a number of provinces as a result of the aggression’s war explosive remnants.
YEMAC said that the threat of the war explosive remnants is still lurking with new victims, as a result of the wide scope of the contaminated area, the excessive use of cluster bombs and the lack of mine detectors.
