Parliament’s Presidium calls on coalition not to waste time to achieve peace

The Parliament’s Presidium on Tuesday called on the Saudi-led coalition not to waste time and opportunity to achieve peace, and to benefit from the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman to move on the path of peacemaking.

The Presidium renewed, in a statement, its support for the efforts of the Revolution Leader and the Supreme Political Council in support of the honorable peace options that preserve Yemen’s unity, security and stability, and give priority to the public interest of the Yemeni people.

The Parliament’s Presidium appreciated the keenness of the Revolutionary and political leadership to benefit from Yemen’s oil and gas wealth to improve services, pay the salaries of state employees, and stop the tampering with these wealth by the pro-coalition government.

The statement praised the Omani mediation efforts, and Sanaa’s keenness to get out of the state of no peace and no war, to end the suffering of the Yemeni people.
