10 people killed by fire at hotel casino on Cambodia border with Thailand
At least 10 people were killed as a result of fire broke out at fire at the Grand Diamond City Casino and Hotel in the border town of Poipet, on the border with Thailand, Cambodia’s Fresh News website reported.
On Thursday, the website quoted local police as saying: the hotel’s phones are not working at the moment.

According to local media, they were burned, poisoned with combustion materials or sustained fractures and injuries after jumping out of the windows of the upper floors.
The Phnom Penh Post said the fire had not yet been extinguished, and more than 400 people could be inside the hotel.
