9 killed, 8 injured due to house collapse in Bayda

At least nine citizens, including children, were killed and eight others were wounded on Sunday as a result of the collapse of a three-storey house in al-Dajra village of Al-Sharaf area in Bayda province.

Director of Al-Thawra General Hospital in the province, Dr. Nasser Al-Ajili, told Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that six people from the Al-Shenini family, including children, in addition to three paramedics, died as a result of the collapse of the house.

Dr. Al-Ajili indicated that eight others were injured as a result of the collapse of the house, and 12 were rescued, and they are currently in stable condition, while one case was transferred to Sana’a.
