YPC: Aggression coalition holds fuel ship
The US-Saudi aggression coalition detained on Saturday a new fuel ship, bringing the number of fuel ships seized to five.
Spokesman for the Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) Essam Al-Mutawakel told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the US-Saudi aggression coalition seized the gasoline ship “Gh Austen” and prevented it from reaching the port of Hodeida.
He said, “In order to perpetuate the siege and increase the suffering of the Yemeni people, the US-Saudi aggression coalition detained the gasoline ship despite its humanitarian nature and that it was inspected in Djibouti.”
Al-Mutawakel pointed out that the aggression coalition is still practicing piracy on oil derivatives ships, calling on the international community, the Security Council and the international human rights and humanitarian organizations to put pressure on the aggression coalition to quickly release the detained fuel ships and not to practice piracy on them in the future.
