US-backed militias detain refugees in Rukban camp in Syria

 Armed groups affiliated with the US occupation prevent refugees from leaving the Rukban camp in the al-Tanf area of the Syrian desert, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported, citing local sources.

According to the sources, the families also noted that residents in the camp cannot flee despite their exerted attempts, because those terrorist groups are preventing them from going out.

A number of the residents, who fled from the camp located in Al-Tanf area in the Syrian Badiya (semi-desert), said that they paid money for those who helped them escape.

They referred to the extremely poor living conditions of fear, starvation, the spread of Narcotic Drugs and weapons. In addition to forcibly recruiting their children with the ranks of “Magaweer al-Thawra” and other US-backed terrorist groups.
