President Al-Mashat meets Yemeni ambassador to Iran

President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi Al-Mashat met here on Sunday with Yemen’s ambassador to Iran Ibrahim Al-Dailami.

The meeting discussed the situation of t Yemeni embassy in Iran, the Yemeni community and Yemeni students studying in the Islamic Republic of Iran, ways to enhance bilateral relations between the 2 brotherly countries and peoples, and prospects for future Yemeni-Iranian cooperation.

In the meeting, President Al-Mashat listened, from Ambassador Al-Dailami, to a brief explanation of the nature of the events taking place in Iran during this period.

President Al-Mashat stressed the need to continue providing care and all services to the Yemeni community and students studying in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He pointed out that the massive demonstrations that took place in many Iranian cities to express their rejection of foreign conspiracies aimed at destabilizing the security and stability of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is an awareness evidence of the Iranian people and their ability to overcome all the conspiracies and plans of the US-Israeli intelligence.

President Al-Mashat affirmed the support of the Republic of Yemen by the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of these conspiracies and sabotage acts.

He stressed the need for our country’s embassy in Iran to work on everything that would strengthen relations between the 2 brotherly countries and develop prospects for cooperation in various fields for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.
