Local Authority in Hodeida, Fisheries Authority condemn abduction of 20 Yemeni fishermen

The local authority in Hodeida province and the Red Sea General Fisheries Authority condemned on Thursday the abduction of Saudi aggression forces and their mercenaries today for 20 Yemeni fishermen.

The local authority and the General Fisheries Authority deplored two separate statements — received by SABA abusive practices against Yemeni fishermen who, and their boats, have been kidnapped by the aggression’s forces in the Yemeni territorial waters in Bahis area of Medi district, and taken to an unknown area.

The statements called on international organizations and the United Nations to take all measures, prevent abuses against them and release all abducted fishermen in prisons of aggression states.

They held the United Nations, the international community and all human rights organizations fully responsible against the repeated arbitrary practices of unarmed fishermen by the aggression states and their mercenaries.
