YPC: aggression seizes diesel ship

The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) reported on Tuesday that the aggression detained a new diesel ship and prevented it from reaching the port of Hodeida despite having UN entry permits.

YPC spokesman Essam al-Mutawakil said the US-led aggression coalition detained the diesel ship “Soprano Serene” although it has been inspected in Djibouti and cleared by the UN.

The “Soprano Serene” ship is supposed to still be within the entitlements of the second extension of the temporary armistice agreement, however that did not spare it the obstacles of the siege and arbitrary restrictions, he said.

Al-Mutawakil held the aggression and the United Nations responsible for the abusive practices and restrictions and their grave repercussions on the people.
