Meteorology expects heat-wave targeting desert, coastal areas

The National Center of Meteorology has warned residents against a heat-wave in the desert and areas of Yemen.

In its weather bulletin on Monday, the center is expected light rains on mountainous heights in the provinces of Lahij, Taiz, Ibb, Dhalea, Rayma, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout, as well as Dhamar, Mahweet, Hajjah and Saada.

Socotra Archipelago: The weather would be partly cloudy, with moderate winds reaching a maximum speed of 20 knots.
