Meteorology expects dust wave on desert areas
The continuation of the widespread dust wave that affected desert areas and parts of the western highlands and the interior plateaus, the National Center of Meteorology expected on Wednesday.
In its weather bulletin on Wednesday, the center reported that active to very fast winds are being witnessed in the western Socotra archipelago, with a maximum speed of 30 knots.
It also expected also scattered rain accompanied by thunderstorms during the evening period on parts of the southern and eastern coasts of the provinces of Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra.
The center pointed out that the rains would include separate parts of the western coasts of the provinces of Taiz, Hodeida, Taiz, Lahj, Ibb, Dhalea, Raymah and Mahweet, and separate areas of Dhamar, Hajjah, Sanaa and Amran, Bayda, Abyan and Shabwa.
The center warned citizens of the flow of torrential rain in water ways and valleys, thunderstorms, and motorists of low visibility on mountainous roads.
