General strike takes place in Jenin

The Palestinian National and Islamic Forces’ factions in Jenin announced a general strike and a day of anger against the Israeli occupation on Thursday, in mourning of the four Palestinians killed by occupation forces during a military raid on the city and the refugee camp on Wednesday.

The factions said in a statement that “all components of our people are united, and there is no place for division in the dictionary of Jenin, and the blood of our martyrs will be only beacons on the path of freedom.”

“The Jenin governorate confirmed the unity of its camp, its city and its countryside, and the blood mixed to announce resoundingly that we have no choice but unity and resistance,” the statement said.
