Two Palestinians killed in armed clashes with Israeli occupation forces in Jenin
Two Palestinian resistance fighters were killed on Wednesday morning in armed clashes with Israeli occupation forces near the “Jalama checkpoint”, north of Jenin in the occupied West Bank.
The two Palestinian martyrs were identified as Ahmad Ayman Abed, 23, and Abdul Rahman Hani Abed, 22, from the town of Kufr Dan, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, according to the Ministry of Health.
According to Hebrew media, the two martyrs had set an ambush targeting the enemy soldiers at the checkpoint and engaged in an armed clash with the occupying soldiers that led to their deaths.
Eyewitnesses from the city of Jenin reported numerous casualties among enemy forces, as helicopters were seen transporting the wounded from the scene.
