Abdulsalam: Yemen Refuses to Normalize with Israeli Enemy

The national Negotiating Delegation headed by Mohammed Abdulsalam met, Wednesday, with Ali Akbar Velayati, Advisor to the Leader of the Iranian Revolution for International Affairs.

In the meeting, the head of National Delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, expressed his thanks to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its supportive stances and aspirations for the Yemeni people.

He stressed that Yemen’s position was and still is based on fighting arrogance led by America and Israel, and “we are still steadfast, and we refuse to normalize relations with the enemy entity.”

The adviser to Leader of Iranian Revolution for International Affairs Velayati, affirmed that Yemen will defeat the enemies’ conspiracy, saying: “Our relations with you are deep, continuous and historical,”

He noted that the Yemeni people, despite all the problems and difficulties, are vigilant, and were able to present the true essence of fighting arrogance.

Recently, Iranian Foreign Minister’s Senior Advisor for Special Political Affairs, Ali Khaji, criticized Monday the UN bias in the Yemen crisis, and considered it to come in a path that contradicts the political process to resolve the crisis.

In a telephone conversation with the Swedish special representative for Yemen affairs,”Peter Smenibi, Khaji said that the UN bias would further deepen the mistrust between the parties to the conflict.

The two sides stressed the need to develop cooperation in the context of helping to solve the crisis in Yemen and end the current humanitarian catastrophe as soon as possible.

They had made a virtual call a while ago to discuss and exchange views on areas of joint cooperation between Iran and Sweden to help solve the Yemen crisis and end this humanitarian catastrophe quickly.
