Coalition seizes gas ship bond for Yemen

The Yemeni Gas Company (YGC) on Tuesday confirmed that the Saudi-led coalition seized the gas vessel “LADY SARAH”, in a new violation of the UN-brokered truce.

The YGC spokesman, Ali Ma’sar stated that the US-led aggression coalition seized the gas vessel loaded with 9,332 metric tons of imported gas, despite it having been inspected and given entry permits by the United Nations.

He pointed out that the arbitrary practices confirm the aggression coalition continuation in piracy on gas vessel and repudiating the implementation of the temporary truce.

Ma’sar called on the United Nations to carry out its duty, stop piracy by the coalition, and implement the armistice terms.
