Al-Samei, Al-Junaid meet Taiz dignitaries, sheikhss
Member of the Supreme Political Council Sultan Al-Samei and Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs Mahmoud Al-Junaid met on Monday in Taiz province with a number of notables and sheikhs of the province.
The meeting discussed a number of important issues and developments affecting the province.
The meeting dealt with the opening of the al-Siteen – al-Khamseen Road, leading to Al-Noor City within the city of Taiz by one side, (that is the National Salvation Government), to alleviate the suffering of the people of Taiz, which suffers like other Yemeni provinces from the siege imposed on the Yemeni people for eight years.
The meeting called on the people of Taiz who live in the areas controlled by the other side to communicate with their stakeholders to respond and open the road from their side so that the citizens can pass through this humanitarian way.
The meeting also dealt with the difficulties faced by Taiz University in Al-Hawban, due to the lack of the study halls, as a result of the increase in the number of students this year, and proposals were made to provide a land area to build a university. The number of the students graduate from all the university departments annually reached 25,000.
The meeting also discussed a number of problems facing the local authority related to the service and development projects, especially in the field of health, education and roads.
