Report: Over 22, 000 Israeli occupation military aircraft have violated Lebanese airspace since 2007

The Israeli occupation warplanes have violated Lebanese airspace more than 22,000 times since 2007, According to a report published on the airpressure.info website.

During the 15 years, Israeli jet  fighters have stormed the country’s airspace more than 8,000 times, and drones – 13,000.

The report added that the Israeli air force regularly violated Lebanese airspace and conducted reconnaissance flights over southern Lebanon, the Bekaa region and the centre of the country.

Israeli fighter jets, in particular, are using Lebanese airspace to strike Syrian territory, the report said.

For their part, the Lebanese authorities have repeatedly issued protest notes to the United Nations calling for pressure on Tel Aviv and calling for respect for Lebanon’s sovereignty and compliance with UN Security Council Resolution 1701 of 2006, taken after Israel’s latest aggression against Lebanon.
