Hodeida governor meets country director of Child Care Organization in Yemen
Hodeida governor Mohammed Qahim has met with the child care organization country director in Yemen.
During the meeting, Qahim and the child care organization country director discussed the organization’s activities and programs, the difficulties it faces, ways to address them, and the possibility of increasing support to meet the provinces’ needs in a number of sectors.
Governor Qahim praised the organization’s efforts in alleviating some of the sufferings of those affected, pointing to the urgent need required in the water, health, education, and food sectors.
He expressed his hope to expand the organization’s interventions, especially in al-Durayhimi district and the districts in Hodeida that were most affected by the aggression and siege.
In turn, the child care organization country director pointed out that his visit to the province comes to coordinate with the local authority and concerned offices to meet the province’s needs.
He praised the cooperation of the local authority in facilitating the implementation of the organization’s programs to help the needy and support the affected sectors.
The child care organization’s country director stressed the keenness to enhance cooperation between the organization and the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and to provide humanitarian support in accordance with the organization’s plan.
