1st Cairo-bound flight leaves Sana’a
The first Cairo-bound flight left Sana’a International Airport, on Wednesday with 78 passengers on board.
It is the first flight to Cairo and the seventh out of 16 included in the humanitarian truce announced by the United Nations in early April. The 6 other flights headed all for Amman, Jordan.
It is also the first to Egypt since the beginning of the aggression on the country 6 years ago. It is very importance to the Yemeni people in general and to the patients in particular, especially those who suffer from chronic diseases and failed to get medical treatment in the country due to the aggression’s siege.
A number of passengers expressed their happiness with this flight, praising the procedures made by the staff of Sana’a International Airport.
