Major fire extinguished in car parts store in Sana’a

The Civil Defense teams in the capital Sana’a managed on Tuesday afternoon to put out a huge fire in a car spare parts hangar in Al-Zubayri Street in Maeen district.

The firefighting teams were able to put out the fire that broke out in a warehouse for auto parts on Al-Zubayri Street, next to Kentucky Bridge, with the participation of four fire trucks, Director of Civil Defense in the capital Colonel Mohammed Bahish told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba).

He said the fire was contained before it spreads to the neighboring commercial fairs and residential buildings, adding that the losses were limited to the material side.

The relevant security authorities are investigating the causes of the fire, he added.
