Civil Defense puts out fire at oil station in Bayda
The Civil Defense was able on Sunday to put out a fire erupted in an oil station in Bayda province.
The director of the authority branch in the governorate, Colonel Aziz Al-Mawiry declared that the fire was caused by friction and oil leakage from one of the barrels loaded on a truck, while unloading to the station.
Al-Mawiry affirmed that the firefighting teams were able to contain the source of the fire and put out the fire in a short period of time before spreading to the main station tank, pointing out that the material losses resulting from the fire are estimated at 10 million Yemeni riyals.
